Flights to Bourgas

    In 2007 Bourgas celebrated its 80th anniversary. Built on 2 532 200 sq.m., the Bourgas International Airport is in the southern part of the Bourgas bay- some 10 km. north east of the city centre.
 Most active during the ever growing summer season, it impressively catered to some 1 949 198 passengers and 16 114 aircraft movements in 2007. It handles flights from 12 scheduled and 40 charter airlines from countries all over Europe: UK, Ireland, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Israel, Finland and many others. With the planned future expansion of the airport, more low cost, budget airlines are expected to fly to Bourgas, thereby making access even more convenient and economical.
