Low unemployment in the Bourgas region

Unemployment in the Bourgas region rose in January by 0.5 percent to 3.99 percent, reported the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
Country to increase in December was 0.23% to 6.5%. Compared to the same month of 2008 the unemployment rate was 0.88 percent lower.
In January 2009 in 8 areas the unemployment rate remains lower than average. This is Sofia-city (1.31 percent), Burgas (3.99%), Gabrovo (4.24%), Varna (4.89%), Plovdiv (5.27%), Stara Zagora (5.28%), Pernik (5.41%) and Ruse (6.19 %).
In the labor offices were registered 240 782 unemployed people who have 8493 people (with 3.7 percent) more than the previous month. Compared to January of 2008 the number of unemployed decreased by 32 498 people or 11.9 percent.
During the months in labor offices have declared 46 923 jobs, with over 34 000 more than in December and nearly 1800 more than in January 2008 recorded an increase results mainly from the launch of the majority of approved projects in NP "From Doles to providing employment, activities NP assistant to people with disabilities "in NP" Social services in a family environment.
